Tucker is going through a phase (that is turning out to be a LONG phase) where he wants Mommy to put him night-night. Our routine starts with bath time about 7:15 or so. Then we have a night-night snack with a show/quiet time (that usually turns into family play time that's not so quiet lol!), brush teeth, potty, pick out a toy (or 2 or 3) to sleep with, gather silky (yes, he still LOVES his silky!), 2 books (that sometimes gets stretched into 3 books), prayer, lights out (lately, reaching upwards of 8:45 at this point!), and recently added by Tucker -- back rub with a song. "Mommy, you can't leave until you rub my back just a few minutes!" That boy loves back rubs as much as his Daddy! And don't try to rub over his shirt or you'll hear, "Under my shirt, Mommy/Daddy!" Daddy says.the.exact.same.thing.
Here are a few pics Daddy managed to sneak in a couple nights ago when I was reading Tucker his books. Depending on Tucker's mood, it can take a while to get through a couple books. He is SO inquisitive (and the more he wants to stall lights out, the more inquisitive he gets lol!). N
