Frozen Milk Dilemma!

You're looking at approximately 160 give or take bags of frozen breastmilk stuffed in my freezer. I'm looking at blood, sweat and tears! I NEED a way to chronologically organize these. Any suggestions? The only idea I have come up with is to put them in the gallon size freezer bags by month or something? If you have had a freezer full of milk or know someone that has or have just heard of a good way to organize them, PLEASE share!!! On the rare occasion that we give Tucker a bottle, we have to dig around for the earlier dated ones... This is not only a pain, but risks the chance of puncturing one of the bags and waisting my milk (the worse thing ever!).
** Update: Thank you to those that have commented with some great ideas! (And, yes I too try to store my milk flat, which can be tricky when you began to run out of room in the freezer.) I came across this idea while googling ideas. You HAVE to check it out! This woman is SMART! I am totally implementing this!

Gallon size ziplock bags are a good idea. You can do it by month or week, depending on how much milk you have. I found it also helped to freeze those little bags of milk perfectly flat, so that way when they are frozen you can stack them, or stand them up all against each other. It really takes up lots less room in your freezer and makes them easier to organize and find. By the way, your hair looks GREAT in your last post! LOVE the bangs Hot Mama! Love, Melissa B.

Good job on producing all that milk! I hope you can keep it up when you go back to work while also keeping your sanity! It's very very hard, but worth it. I did it up until Eli was about six months, then he started taking formula at daycare and nursing on nights and weekends and that was a lot easier on me and he did fine with that. But be sure to get all the use out of that milk as you can! Try this: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2908541 or something like it!

I agree completely with melissa - I made the mistake of not doing this, but it would have been great to save them flat. I don't exactly know how you should do that, but it makes so much sense! My freezer was hot mess the whole time I was nursing. Keep it up! Don't let work get in the way. Pumping is a pain, but so worth it!

I never had your problem, you are blessed with great problems! lol!! but that girls idea with the gift bags and the dispenser is PERFECT! I was thinking it would be handy to take to the sitter with you! You could just bring her one bag for at least a couple days if not the whole week!
